Steps for Processing Your Customer's Warranty Claims
Is your Phone/Device Still Eligible For Warranty Claim?
Make sure to register your device at famewireless.com when purchased. If you do not, then you must provide proof of purchase date to determine if the device was purchased within the past 90 days for a CPO or within the past 12 months for our new products.
What is covered by this warranty?
FAME Wireless Inc ("FAME Wireless") warrants the FAME Wireless Certified smartphones ("Certified Product") against defects in materials and workmanship used normally in accordance with original manufacturer's published guidelines for a period of Ninety (90) days from the date of original retail purchase by the end-user purchaser ("Warranty Period"). Original manufacturer's published guidelines include but are not limited to information contained in technical specifications and user manuals.
What is NOT covered by this warranty?
This Warranty does not apply to any mobile devices or any smartphones other than purchased from FAME Wireless directly or via authorized dealers. Manufacturers and suppliers, other than FAME Wireless, may provide their own warranties to you - please contact them for further information. FAME Wireless does not warrant that the operation of the Certified Product will be uninterrupted or error-free. FAME Wireless is not responsible for damage arising from failure to follow instructions relating to the Certified Product's use, including water damage and broken screens.
This Warranty does not apply: (a) to parts such as batteries or protective coatings that are designed to diminish over time, unless failure has occurred due to a defect in materials and workmanship; (b) to cosmetic damage, including but not limited to scratches, dents and broken plastic on ports; (c) to damage caused by accident, abuse, misuse, liquid contact, fire, or other external cause; (d) to damage caused by service performed by anyone who is not a representative of FAME Wireless or a FAME Wireless Authorized Service Provider; (e) to defects caused by normal wear and tear or otherwise due to the normal aging of the Certified Product, or (f) if any serial number has been removed or defaced from the Certified Product.
After Diagnosing The Problem:
Email email@example.com to submit the Customer's Warranty Claim. Before 5pm, eastern standard time, you will receive a reply same day with an authorization to proceed with the repair for the customer, an authorization to return the device for replacement or a declination of the claim for a reason to be stated at that time. If submitted after 5pm, eastern standard time, you will receive a response by the next business day.
If FAME Wireless determines that the device must be returned for repair/replacment, we will send you an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) form to be completed and sent back for processing. Within 48 hours, you will be issued and RMA number, and will ship the device to our facility for repair/replacement. If the device needs to be shipped to a FAME Wireless facility for repair/replacement, then we will email you a shipping label and cover the cost of shipping the device. You as the Dealer may provide the Customer with a replacement device you have in stock immediately, so that the customer is not without a phone, and ship the warranted device, to the address on the RMA approval. A replacement device will be mailed to you upon receipt of the warranted device.
EXCEPT AS PROVIDED IN THIS WARRANTY AND TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, FAME WIRELESS IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR DIRECT, SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES RESULTING FROM AN BREACH OF WARRANTY OR CONDITION, OR UNDER ANY OTHER LEGAL THEORY, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF USE; LOSS OF REVENUE; LOSS OF ACTUAL OR ANTICIPATED PROFITS (INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS ON CONTRACTS); LOSS OF THE USE OF MONEY; LOSS OF ANTICIPATED SAVINGS; LOSS OF BUSINESS; LOSS OF OPPORTUNITY; LOSS OF GOODWILL; LOSS OF REPUTATION; LOSS OF, DAMAGE TO, COMPROMISE OR CORRUPTION OF DATA; OR ANY INDIRECT OR CONSEQUENTIAL LOSS OR DAMAGE HOWSOEVER CAUSED INCLUDING THE REPLACEMENT OF EQUIPMENT AND PROPERTY, ANY COSTS OF RECOVERING, PROGRAMMING, OR REPRODUCING ANY PROGRAM OR DATA STORED IN OR USED WITH THE CERTIFIED PRODUCT OR ANY FAILURE TO MAINTAIN THE CONFIDENTIALITY OF INFORMATION STORED ON THE PRODUCT.
FAME WIRELESS DISCLAIMS ANY REPRESENTATIONS THAT IT WILL BE ABLE TO REPAIR ANY DEVICE UNDER THIS WARRANTY OR REPLACE THE PRODUCT WITHOUT RISK TO OR LOSS OF INFORMATION STORED IN THE DEVICE.
